Central monitoring and controlling system (CMCS) mentioned in Option A and Option B
1) Remote monitoring and reporting of faulty lights.
2) Astronomical timer
a) This Astronomical timer controller is programmed on longitude & latitude base of the site, for the entire year for the actual sunrise and sunset timings of the site. Sunrise and sunset time changes on day to day basis and in one month there is a time change of about 30 minutes. For entire year sunrise and sunset time changes by about 190 minutes. It can save energy up to 8 % compared to conventional manual operation, photo sensors or conventional timers.
b) This controller incorporates a real time clock with in-built battery backup for minimum 8 years. There is no need to reprogram the controller even if supply fails for long duration.
c) Password Protection. (Unauthorised person cannot create problems for street lighting operation)
d) This controller can also save manpower operating cost and manual-operating errors.
3) Central monitoring and controlling system (CMCS) with number of control panels and number of lights on each control panel.
a) The software is web browser-based software which gives complete command of your remote energy saver.
b) This software can be accessed on a PC, Laptop or even a smart phone.
c) The site can be seen on Google Map.
d) The control panels can be seen on the Google map.
e) The faulty light can also be seen on the Google map.
f) The parameters such as ‘switch on’, ‘switch off’ , ‘percentage dimming’, ‘dimming duration’ etc. can be adjusted from remote location.
g) Password protected- so different operating rights can be assigned to different persons. For example: Some people will be given ‘Viewing rights’ only, a few other higher authority can modify the settings of the parameters. Due to security features of the software, only authorized user can use the services
h) Notifications will be sent to designated mobile numbers, email IDs.
i) During twilight 30 min. duration ‘dimming to full’ in the evening and early morning (dawn) 30 min. duration gradual ‘dimming to off’ will be utilised for energy saving. It can save energy up to 7-8 % compared to conventional manual operation, photo sensors or conventional timers. The duration timing can be customised for energy saving.
j) The dimming feature will be utilized to dim the lights seamlessly to specified level of say 40 or 50 or 60 % , at midnight or 1 am and to bring the lights to the full level at a specified time of say 4am or 4.30am , which will result in energy saving . It can save energy up to 38-40 % compared to conventional manual operation, Photo sensors or conventional timers.
